Acting (led by Peter MacDonald Eggers KC) for ship owners in an insurance claim worth c.US$40 million following the loss of a vessel.
Acting in an insurance claim brought against an incorrect defendant.
Assisted in preparing written submissions for trial in the Supreme Court of a reinsurance mesothelioma dispute (as a pupil).
Assisted in advising on a number of matters including scope of cover, a possible contributory negligence claim and quantum in relation to an incident at a data security facility (as a pupil).
Assisted in advising in relation to the validity of an insurance securities claim following the committal of fraud and dishonesty by a company director (as a pupil).

Conducted research into the Court’s approach to forum conveniens following the decision in Vedanta Resources Plc v Lungowe [2019] 2 W.L.R. 1051 (SC).

Assisted in advising and preparing particulars of claim for breach of duty and/or contract resulting from the commingling of cargo during loading of a vessel (as a pupil).

Conducted research for an arbitration in the context of a professional negligence claim brought by the FRC (as a pupil).
